Notice of 2026 Annual Meeting

 

The Annual Meeting of participating members of Rural Water District No. 5, Franklin County, Kansas, will be held at Hayes Township Hall, 3311 Riley Terrace, Ottawa, Kansas, (easily accessed from Nevada Road) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, for the following purposes:

1. Reading and approval of the Annual Meeting Minutes of February 11, 2025.
2. Reading and approval of the Financial Report for 2025.
3. Reading and approval of the Proposed Budget for 2026.
4. Discuss and vote on proposed changes to District Bylaws. 
5. Election of one Board Member. The term of Board Member Becky Taylor has expired. The Board will nominate one person to fill the position and will ask for additional nominations from the floor.
