Bill Payment

​​Charges for water usage shall be due by the 15th of the month and remitted by mail to:

If you have not received a bill by the 10th of the month, please notify the district by telephone at 785-893-5216

 

Payments not received by the 15th of each month shall be considered delinquent and an additional 10% delinquency charge addressed on the unpaid balance. The consumer will be sent a Past Due notice via First Class mail on the 16th of each month, unless payments have been approved by the chairperson due to extenuating circumstances. The Pat Due notice will note the termination date which will be the last business day of the month.

 

Reconnection charges: Payment of all current and overdue charges must be received by the last business day of the month. Payments not received by the last business day of the month shall be considered in default and water service shall by subject to termination and the consumer liable for a $150 reconnection Fee.

 

Water services will be restored only after payment of all current and overdue charges in full, including the $150 reconnection fee. Terminated water services will continue to be subject to the current minimum monthly charge, including delinquent charges, unless the consumer opts to surrender the meter.
